Hull make their first ever trip to the Britannia on Saturday hoping to reverse the 1-0 defeat at the KC Stadium earlier this season. Stoke need to try and put their poor home form this season behind them and make sure that they build on the 2-2 draw with Ipswich in the last home game.
Jan De Koning, Stoke's assistant manager, told the official site:
'Hull need the points and will fight. I've known Peter Taylor for years and they will be strong up front'
Brammer is definitely out, but Luke Chadwick should be fit. Darel Russell will have a fitness test before the game. Ed de Goey will be back on the bench after recovering from illness.
With Luke looking fit, we need his pace and skill down the wing and hopefully his second goal for the Potters.
Nick Barmby and and Stuart Green could be out injured
If Barmby does not play, then John Parkin could pose the biggest threat.
Former Vale players are always interesting to see down at the Brit! So look out for new signings Billy Paynter and Sam Collins.
They've beaten us on just five occasions at home and overall have lost 21, drawn 13 and won 15 encounters in all competitions against the Potters.
Needs to be a Stoke win. So 2-1 to the Potters
Saturday 28th January: FA Cup 4th Round at home to Walsall
Next Championship game is at home to Preston - 4th February.
