The Potters travel south to Watford this weekend who are 4th in the Championship, after 2 wins, a draw and one defeat over Christmas. Stoke will be looking to put their recent poor form behind them and reverse the 3-0 defeat at the Brit back in September.
Boskamp admits that the Potters must come away with something from the game - 'We have to put something right, the performance against Tamworth was just not good enough'.
Midfielder, Al Bangura could be back from an ankle injury, whilst Clarke Carlisle and Ashley Young are suspended.
Former Stoke reserve keeper Ben Foster (on loan from Man Utd) has been an ever present force in goal this season for the Hornets
With 12 goals already in the bag this season, Stoke must make sure he does not add to his tally.
Striker Sam Bangoura is away on international duty and Mamady Sidibe and Darel Russell are early doubts, so it may be left to Paul Gallagher and Hannes Sigurdsson upfront
Stoke have won the last 3 meetings between the two clubs at Vicarage Road, last season Gifton Noel-Williams got us the winner.
If we're on our game (and with our away record) we should win, but the realist inside me would be happy with a draw.
