Stoke visit Wolverhampton in the rearranged Staffordshire derby tonight in another attempt to reverse their current poor away form. This will prove a stiff task after being soundly beaten by Wolves 3-1 earlier in the season at the Brit and who are currently in 8th position in the Championship.
Steve Simonsen told the official site that he reckons Wolves were one of the best sides to visit the Brit this season: 'They played really well on the day and in all fairness totally outplayed us.'
Gabor Gyepes returns to the side after a month out with a back injury as Jody Craddock returns to the squad after a knee injury
Currently Wolves' top scorer with 10 goals
Carl Hoefkens and Dave Brammer should return after suspension.
Striker Mamady Sidibe will play following nose surgery but Hannes Sigurdsson is a doubt with a hernia injury.
On his previous form, he is well overdue for a return to goal scoring ways and what a time it would be for him to hit the back of the net!
You have to go back to February 1997 to find the last time that we came away from Molineux without at least a point.
