Thanks to the 22 ageing Stoke Fans who travelled with Midland Mainline to and from Euston yesterday

We had the pleasure of your company on both the outward and home journey

It was enlightening to witness you start the day with your drinking, farting and loud and offensive banter and singing - oblivious to the rights of fellow passengers to a peaceful journey.

And it was an absolute joy to encounter you on the return journey - clearly drunk and determined to be even more offensive and selfish.

Highlights included your decision to occupy the first class seats without tickets and abusing the female member of the train company's staff who had the misfortune to tell you to move - resulting in the police escorting you off the train when you abused her.

It was wonderful for all passengers to then have to wait while the police told you how to behave on public transport - something you must surely have grasped during your 40+ years.

I pity your children and grandchildren if that's the example your set for them.

Aging at 40+. I have Son`s older than that.!! lol. Having said that, I am in full agreement with your comments. I hope the scoreline helped to soften the blow. We are not all like the one`s you describe here in the Potteries. Perhaps I can invite you to tea the next time you visit Stoke.
