Keep Sidibe in the team

Keep Sidibe in the team

The majority of Vital Stoke readers have agreed with the Stoke boss that Mamady Sidibe should be kept in the starting eleven, despite not getting on the score sheet yet this season.

Sidibe made his first start after returning from the African Cup of Nations last week and marked the occasion with two missed chances, prompted supporters to again question whether he justifies his place in the starting eleven.

As I said after the game, there is no doubt he provides a good partner to Ricardo Fuller up front, but I questioned how long we should carry a striker that is yet to score this season.

Tony Pulis came out in full support of the Mali international, saying that it was all about balance in the team, rather than individual scoring efforts and 54% of Vital Stoke readers agree with him with just 46% thinking he should be dropped.
