Gally's back at Stoke

Paul Gallagher has rejoined the Potters for the remainder of the season after he agreed a last minute loan deal from Blackburn Rovers.

Hot on the heels of John Eustace's surprise departure comes the news of Paul Gallagher's return to the club.

He was one of the few high spots of Johan Boskamp's short tenure at the Brit after he spent most of the season at Stoke on loan in 2005-06. He ended up as the Potters' top scorer with 14 goals and it had been rumoured last year that he may be on his way for a second spell at the club after Tony Pulis revealed that John Rudge had been signing Gally's praises, but he then opted to go out on loan to Preston instead. That loan period ended at Christmas and Gally obviously preferred a promotion campaign rather than a relegation campaign and will get a good reception back at the Brit on Saturday.
