Near sell-out for Potters FA Cup tie

It looks like Stoke will have a near sell-out crowd in the home areas of the Brit for Sunday's visit of Newcastle United.

With the Potters' good form in the Championship and Newcastle's well publicised problems both on and off the field, it has every indication of being a match to remember.

The BBC are also televising it live on a prime-time Sunday evening slot, so national media interest in Stoke City has reached heights that we've not been used to at the Brit for many years. Let's just hope that we can live up to all the hype and show the rest of the country that Stoke City really is a team that they'll be seeing a lot more of before the end of 2008.

We'll be publishing our big match preview on Saturday.
