Wright recalled by Sunderland

Wright recalled by Sunderland

Stephen Wright has been recalled by the Black Cats after Stoke had tried to get his loan period extended.

Tony Pulis had been hoping to keep Wright for the remainder of the season, but Roy Keane has decided that he needs all the defenders he can muster as the Premier League new boys try and stave off a quick return to the Championship.

I doubt if Stoke fans will be too worried, as we still have Gaby Zakuani on loan from Fulham for the remainder of the season.
