'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Gaby Zakuani Talks

Stoke youngster Gaby Zakuani reviews the midweek win against Scunthorpe and reveals who the Potters must watch out for against Sheffield United this weekend.

'The way we won last night at Scunthorpe was dramatic. We stole it in the last couple of minutes of the game. The big goal tally probably had something to do with the conditions. It was very slippery. It was a hard game for us – no team has won there apart from Watford recently, and they’re doing really well in the league.

'I could do with getting a few more goals into my game, but the set pieces aren’t set up for me. Ryan’s a big target and a good finisher for a defender. He likes to get on the end of things. It would be nice to get on the end of the set pieces but the main thing is he’s scoring and I’m doing ok at the back.'
