Stoke second string hit the net

The Potters' two main back-up strikers both scored in a 2-1 victory for the Reserves against Huddersfield Town in the Pontin's League.

Both Jon Parkin and Vincent Pericard hit the back of the net in the match at the Britannia Stadium. Stoke were able to field Clint Hill, who is reported to be talking personal terms with Crystal Palace, ahead of a possible swap with Eagles' defender, Leon Cort. Hill is only just back from injury and was joined on the back row by Marlon Broomes and Lewis Buxton who have both been dogged by long term injuries.
