Ferguson's txting Shawcross

Ferguson's txting Shawcross

Man United boss, Alex Ferguson is keeping a close eye on the exploits of Ryan Shawcross whilst he's on loan with the Potters and keeping up with technology.

Shawcross has revealed that the irascible Scot has been texting him after matches to congratulate him on his performances. He's out of contract at Old Trafford next summer and Ferguson will, no doubt, have an eye on a possible transfer deal in January if he decides not to offer him a new contract.

The tall youngster, who is 20 next month, has made the big impression on the Stoke defence since arriving on a six month loan at the start of the season, scoring two goals including the winner in the opening match at Cardiff and, if he is available, you'd like to think that Stoke would be at the head of the queue to gain his services on a permanent basis.

Well as long as he doesn't take him back to soon it's good news for you.
