Stoke confirm Real Madrid friendly

Stoke City have now finally confirmed that they will play Real Madrid in a friendly during their pre-season visit to Austria later this month.

The Potters' squad travel to Austria for a week on the 21st July on what is becoming a regular part of the pre-season programme and the match takes place at Irdning on July 27th - the day before they return to the Potteries.

Full pre-season fixture list:
15th July: Newcastle Town (Lyme Valley Stadium)
20th July: Macclesfield Town (Moss Rose)
27th July: Real Madrid (Irdning, Austria)
1st August: Aston Villa (Britannia Stadium)
