Harper moves north of the border

Kevin Harper, who was released by the Potters at the end of the season, has joined Dunfermline.

The Scottish club will be looking to climb back in to the Premier League after suffering relegation to Division One. Although Harper was born in Oldham, his family moved to Glasgow while he was young and he joined Hibs after playing for Scotland schoolboys. He joined the Potters from Portsmouth in February 2005, but was dogged by injuries whilst at the Brit, but had a good loan spell at Walsall for the second half of last season.
