Pulis tell fans to be patient

Pulis tell fans to be patient

Tony Pulis has warned fans that they need to be patient as the club try and sign new players up.

He told the official site: 'We have been working extremely hard in the background, and we have spoken to three or four players. However there is nothing concrete in the pipeline just yet, but that is mainly because a lot of players go away and have a think about their futures.'

Adding: 'I don't think there has been much transfer activity anywhere as of yet, but that could change when the players get back from holidays.'

Typically, players' contracts run from the start of July, so we would not expect to see many signings before the end of June and players don't report back for pre-season training until the beginning of July.

But when (and we hope not if) the mighty Potters sign some new players, you'll find it all here on Vital Stoke.
