Stoke announce pre-season friendlies

Stoke City have announced that they will play Aston Villa at the Brit amongst their pre-season friendlies.

The match takes place on Wednesday 1st August and will certainly be a good test of Pulis' squad before the 2007-08 season starts in earnest on the 11th August.

Pre-season fixture list:
15th July: Newcastle Town (Lyme Valley Stadium)
21st July - 28th July: Austrian trip - two matches to be played
1st August: Aston Villa (Britannia Stadium)
3rd August: Tranmere Rovers (Prenton Park)
