Rooney is still a Glover

Rooney is still a Glover

Adam Rooney is staying at Yeovil Town on loan until the end of the season. He has made two substitute appearances for the Glovers who now lie in 5th place in League 1 as they continue their push for a play-off spot. Peter Sweeney is also finding it difficult to get matches at the Somerset club. The midfielder has been limited to appearances alongside Rooney on the bench at best in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, Kevin Harper continues with some fine form at League 2 side, Walsall. He scored his fourth goal for the Saddlers last weekend in a 2-1 win at Notts County that guaranteed them promotion back to League 1 next season.

Down the road at Stafford Rangers, Rob Duggan has been getting some valuable first team experience with the Conference outfit, culminating in tonight's good 2-0 win at home to Northwich that lifted them five places and now leaves them four points clear of the relegation zone.
