Pulis: We must beat Leicester

Tony Pulis has thrown down the gauntlet to his players and told them they must beat Leicester on Saturday.

The Potters' manager knows that this is a must-win game if they are to stand any real chance of claiming a play-off spot this season: 'we need to treat this game as our cup final, if we beat Leicester and West Brom or Cardiff slip up we will be only three points off the play-off places.'

Pulis is hoping that he may have Lee Hendrie back in the squad. Hendrie, who has missed the last three weeks through injury has increased his training schedule during the international break in hope of being fit for the visit of the Foxes.

Whilst talking of international breaks, a scan has revealed that Carl Hoefkens did not break his foot during Belgium's 4-0 defeat last weekend and is hopeful of a starting position on Saturday. This will a relief to the manager as Andy Griffin starts the first of his three match ban after being sent off against Norwich two weeks ago.
