Potters' international woes

It's a quiet week at the Brit with several players away playing for their countries and the management taking advantage of the international break to look at new prospects for next season.

However for two of our international players, Carl Hoefkens and Martin Paterson, this may mean that they are doubtful for the home game on Saturday against Leicester after picking up injuries whilst playing for their countries at the weekend.

Belgium were on the receiving end of a 4-0 thrashing from Portugal with Hoefkens picking up a yellow card for a tangle with Man United's Ronaldo before being subbed as a precaution after a foot injury.

Paterson did not fare any better, as Northern Ireland U21 lost 2-0 in a friendly against Romania and picked up a thigh strain in the process.
