Still no joy in Stoke striker hunt

Stoke City are still struggling to bring in some new players in attack to bolster the strike force.

Several players have been linked with loan moves to the Britannia since the January transfer window closed and Tony Pulis has now given up on signing Blades' striker Danny Webber (pictured) who has moved up the pecking order at Bramall Lane since the departures of Ade Akinbiyi and Steve Kabba.

But he is reported to still have at least one more iron in the fire and is waiting to hear from the unnamed Premiership player's club.
