Fuller out for four matches

Fuller out for four matches

Ricardo Fuller is to be banned for four matches following his fracas with Luton's Sol Davis on Saturday.

In a twist to the story, it has been reported that the police were called to the Players' lounge before the end of the match where there was another incident between 'two men'. It is alleged that the two men were Fuller and Davis. Both men needed treatment at the ground for injuries sustained during this 'incident'.

I'm sure in time all the facts of the story will emerge and so it is impossible to comment on the incident in the Players' lounge at the moment.

But, regarding Fuller's second red card this season for very similar reasons, we can but hope that the club will also decide to fine the player heavily as he has let the fans and his teammates down at a crucial time in the season. Time will tell just how much damage he will have caused to the club as he misses four important games against Derby, Barnsley, Plymouth and his old club, Southampton.
