Three Points From The Foxes Is The Aim
January signing Badou Ndiaye has said that Stoke City's only focus this weekend is in taking all three points from Leicester City.
Heading to the King Power Stadium for this weekend early kick off in the Premier League, Ndiaye said everyone had been focused this week in training on ensuring we took all three points from the tie.
Speaking to the Official Website as he met with the media, Ndiaye explained that nobody had a strict points target at this stage of the season, it was simply about gaining as many points as we possibly could.
'We are not trying to calculate things, we just have to win games - there are no other choices for us. We have 11 games remaining and we want to win as many of them as we possibly can, because that is going to be what determines our season.'
He went on to say.
'We need to pick up points no matter who we are playing against, so we will just take it game by game and try and do whatever we can to get a positive outcome. It isn`t going to be easy at all because the league is so tight, but we have the potential and capacities to make it. There isn`t a lot I can say, it is no secret, we all know that we simply have to win games, which we will hopefully do against Leicester City on Saturday.'
Three points this weekend would certainly ease the pressure and make the table look a little bit more palatable, and sitting in 19th place in the table victory - depending on results elsewhere - could see us climb out of the bottom three, if only for a period of the day and not more.
