Officials - Bury v Stoke U23 (8/11/17)

The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Bury and Stoke City's Under 23 side this Wednesday in the EFL Trophy.

Stoke City's Under 23s travel to Bury on Wednesday November 8 for the EFL Trophy tie at Gigg Lane and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: Graham Salisbury
Assistant Refs: Michael D'aguilar and Helen Byrne
Fourth Official: Mark Heywood

Match Day referee Salisbury has officiated 18 games in 2017/18 showing a whopping 75 yellow cards and four red cards already.

He took in 36 games in 2016/17 with a return of 116 yellow cards and five red cards.

His highest card count that season was six yellows in the game between Newport County and Barnet.

He took in 35 matches in 2015/16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 120 yellow cards and eight red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Barnet and Luton in March where he showed eight yellow cards. Bury and Wigan Athletic in October saw seven yellows being shown and one red and he repeated that trick in April in the game between Hartlepool and Mansfield.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
