Club Top Scorers In Premier League 2017

Club Top Scorers In Premier League 2017

With the promotion of Brighton and Huddersfield Town to the Premier League for the season of 2017/18, two players now go into the history books.

Brighton's Pascal Gross became their first Premier League goalscorer when he found the net in a three one victory over West Bromwich Albion earlier this season, whilst Huddersfield's first goal came from a Joel Ward own goal on the opening day against Crystal Palace.

For the purposes of this list though, it focuses in on the top scorers following the top flight rebrand back in 1992 and whether or not Brighton and Huddersfield's entries stay the same come the end of the campaign, the players involved will certainly be hoping to add to their tally.

Manchester United's Wayne Rooney tops the charts outright with a Premier League total of 183 goals, and only Manchester City's Sergio Aguero in near him with a tally of 127 goals but he's in sixth place with former legends, Thierry Henry (Arsenal - 175), Frank Lampard (Chelsea - 147) and Robbie Fowler (Liverpool - 128) all still ahead of him despite hanging up their boots, or in Lampard's case, heading to the MLS the other year.

Here's how everyone else falls.
