No RB Leipzig Friendly Yet

Red Bull Leipzig have announced a friendly between themselves and Stoke City for the summer but it's not fully agreed just yet.

On Monday Stoke City released a very brief statement confirming that they were aware that Leipzig had announced the pre season friendly and they confirmed that discussions were ongoing about a friendly ahead of the new 2017/18 campaign - but nothing had been decided yet.

The statement released to the Official Website read.

'Stoke City are aware that RB Leipzig have announced details of a pre-season friendly between the two sides at the Red Bull Arena on Saturday, August 5. The Potters have been in discussions with Leipzig about the possibility of playing them ahead of the start of the 2017/18 season but it should be noted an agreement has yet to be finalised.'

The details from Leipzig state it has been agreed to take place on Saturday August 5 at the Red Bull Arena, so we'll have to see if that comes to pass.
