Stoke's visit to Burnley cancelled

The New Year's Day match against Burnley at Turf Moor has been cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch.

In related news, former Potter, Ade Akinbiyi has rejoined Burnley from Sheffield United in a 750,000 deal, although the fee could rise to 1.125m. He only left Turf Moor last January for 1.75m - not a bad piece of business for the Clarets....
