Berger signs for Stoke

Stoke have signed Aston Villa winger and former Czech international, Patrik Berger on loan until January 4th.

Tony Pulis completed the deal just before the 5pm deadline today for new loan transfers.

Berger is likely to go straight into the team alongside fellow Villa player, Lee Hendrie who, in the absence of any news to the contrary, remains at the Brit and available to play in Saturday's big match against West Brom.

Good news, but is this O'Neil's way of letting us down gently when he now rings up TP and tells him he wants Lee back?
