Chadwick joins Norwich

Luke Chadwick has left Stoke and joined Norwich City on loan. It is expected that the move will be made permanent in the January transfer window.

Luke had been commuting up from Cambridge after he arrived at the Brit on loan from West Ham last season and it had been understood that he would move up to the Potteries when he signed a full contract in January 2006. Obviously this move would allow him to remain based in East Anglia.

He has always impressed fans with his skills and work-rate but has been suffering from exhaustion and dehydration this season which has meant that he has often had to be substituted after 60 minutes.

We wish him all the best for the future and there is no doubt he will be missed in midfield, especially as there are a growing number of reports that Lee Hendrie could be recalled early by Aston Villa

Good luck Chadders! We need to get Diao signed up before we have another midfield crisis on our hands

Ernshaw - not too much we hope, but we could lose Hendrie at any time and Diao is also only on loan (although there probably is a good chance we'd be able to keep him).
