Begovic wins Chelsea man of the match poll

Asmir Begovic has won the Vital Stoke man of the match award after his performance in Stoke`s 3-0 defeat against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The Bosnian goalkeeper was beaten three times in the match but the score could have been a lot worse if it was not for his heroics.

The former Portsmouth Number One made several excellent saves, especially the memorable save to stop Fernando Torres, who capitalised on an Erik Pieters mistake.

The 26-year-old won with 27% of the poll vote beating Marko Arnautovic (25%) and Peter Crouch, Wilson Palacios, Peter Odemwingie and Charlie Adam (12%) to the award.
