Harper out on loan to Carlisle

Harper out on loan to Carlisle

Kevin Harper has joined League 1 club, Carlisle United on a month's loan.

Harper has struggled with injury since joining from Portsmouth in January 2005 and has yet to start a match this season but when fit he has shown that he has some good pace down the wing.

Harper is the third Stoke player to be loaned out for match practice, following John Eustace (Hereford) and Carl Dickinson (Blackpool)

He has gone straight into the squad to face Tranmere Rovers on Saturday.
