Stoke to open 2013/14 season live on BT

Stoke`s opening day fixture against Liverpool has been chosen to be the first Premier League match shown on BT Sport.

The fixture, that will take place at Anfield on 17th August will now kick-off at 12.45pm and will be the curtain raiser of the 2013/14 Premier League season.

BT Sport, who has taken over the rights left by EPSN last season will try to compete with Sky Sports coverage of the Premier League and believes Mark Hughes` first Potters` fixture is an ideal match to start their competition with their fellow broadcasters.

Stoke will also play in front of live television cameras when they play Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday 22nd September and then the following week against Norwich at the Britannia Stadium on Sunday 29th September, with both games now kicking off at 1.30pm to accommodate the Sky Sports coverage.
