Player of the Season- Editors choice

Player of the Season- Editors choice

To conclude the Vital Stoke End of Season awards, we are looking for the Player of the Season and have put it to the vote of the Vital Stoke community.

Here are the choices of the Vital Stoke Editors:

Lloyd Reddin- Editor
Asmir Begovic

The Bosnian stopper single handily kept Stoke in games at times this season. Begovic`s shot stopping has been top quality; no wonder bigger clubs are sniffing around the keeper. Stoke must keep hold of the international if they want to continue to progress.

Niall Cope- Co-Editor
Asmir Begovic

The Bosnian international has shown this season why the club were so eager to keep hold of him when Chelsea came circulating only months after he signed for the club. He is now the undisputed number one at the club, but for how long? His phenomenal form has rightly seen other clubs interested in his services and with the arrival of a new hot prospect in Jack Butland it remains to be seen if the club will cash in on a player for the first time since promotion.

Tom Barker- Co-Editor
Asmir Begovic

What a season this lad has had. He's gone from being a decent premier league shot stopper to being one of the best talents to emerge in a stoke side since the legendary Gordon Banks. Asmir has kept stoke in games with some extraordinary saves, and has ultimately won us points on his own. For me this season, Begovic has been the rock in what was mostly an extremely leaky defence. The potters need to work very hard to keep him for the next campaign.

These are the views of the editors but it`s only the view of YOU that matters! Don`t forget to vote for your Player of the Season at the right hand side of the screen.
