FA Investigate Post Match Antics

FA Investigate Post Match Antics

The FA have released a statement confirming they are investigating 'the pitch invasion and the subsequent mass confrontation involving players' which took place at the end of the Stoke City (1) v Queens Park Rangers (2) match last weekend. The incidents took place at the Britannia Stadium.

The statement continues: 'Once we have gathered all relevant information we will decide what action will be taken. In any case, we would expect the supporters who ran onto the pitch to be subject to banning orders preventing them from attending future matches domestically and abroad.'

Ending: 'Such incidents are unacceptable and have no place in the game.'

FA talks are ongoing with both clubs, match officials and the police.
