Transfer update - Shea granted work permit
Stoke City have announced that they are moving closer to securing FC Dallas winger after the player was granted a work permit.
At a specially arranged meeting held at Wembley Stadium this afternoon, the club put forward mitigating circumstances to an FA panel and have been granted a governing body endorsement document that can be used to successfully gain a work permit for the 20-year-old.
The deal is now expected to be completed well in advance of the 11pm deadline as Tony Pulis goes in search of further reinforcements.
