Stoke Transfer Update - Palacios set for exit door
Reports suggest Wilson Palacios could be heading out of the Britannia Stadium with Sporting Lisbon very interested in the Honduras midfielder.
Negotiations are believed to be on going between the two clubs with The Potters keen to offload Palacios to free up wage budget for potential incoming players.
However a sticking point in the deal could be the Portuguese club preferring a loan deal where as Stoke want a permanent transfer. Palacios has been seen leaving Stoke`s Clayton Wood training ground with his agent this afternoon.
If the deal is to go through it is expected to go right down to tonight's 11pm transfer deadline.
