Brek Shea set to sign for Stoke

Stoke City are set to complete the signing of USA international Brek Shea.

Shea will be Stoke`s first foray in the January transfer window and will arrive from FC Dallas for a fee around £2.5million.

The left winger, come forward will touch down in Stoke and complete personal terms before undergoing a medical.

The deal looked to have been off earlier in the window as the 22-year-old wasn`t given permission to complete a trial in the Potteries by the MLS, but the issue has seemed to have been resolved just in time to be completed before the end of the transfer window.

The 6ft 3 international, who has been capped 15 times will become the third American on Stoke`s books as he follows fellow Yank Geoff Cameron to the Britannia Stadium along with Maurice Edu who is currently on-loan at Turkish side Bursaspor.
