Stoke to face Reliable Robins

Stoke City have been drawn to face League 2 Champions Swindon Town in the 2nd Round of the Capital One Cup.

Paulo Di Canio`s men dominated League 2 last season, finishing 1st in the league, 5 points clear of Shrewsbury.

Praised as one of the most reliable managers and teams in the league last season, Swindon are hoping to carry their form into this season and aim to win back to back promotions.

Starting in League 1 this year, I`m sure that all Swindon fans and players are relishing the opportunity to come and play at the Britannia Stadium.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for a cup run for the Potters, however, Swindon will not be an easy team to beat.

Capital One Cup, Round 2 matches to be played in the week commencing August 27th.
