Winger Michael Kightly has completed his £2.5 million Stoke City deal.
The former Wolverhampton Wanders wingman has passed a medical and has his completed a 3 year deal at the Britannia Stadium.
Kightly, 26, made 109 appearances, scoring 21 goals in his 5 year injury savaged stint at Molineux and is overjoyed by the opportunity Stoke gave him to continue his career in the Premier League.
"It`s a great club; an established Premier League club, so I am delighted to be here," Kightly told stokecityfc.com
"Any footballer wants to play at the highest level and I am grateful to Stoke for giving me the chance to stay in the Premier League."
Kightly will be deployed on the wing at the Britannia Stadium and Stoke manager Tony Pulis believes the acquisition can get the best out of his other wide men.
Pulis told stokecityfc.com: "Competition for places will bring the best out of them again and that is what Michael`s presence will give us in that area.
"Our two wingers, Matthew Etherington and Jermaine Pennant, have been brilliant for this Football Club over the past few years, but they went off the boil in terms of goal scoring last season, so we wanted to address that."
The former England under-21 international, who was signed by Wolves from Conference side Grays Athletic, will go into Stoke`s squad to face newly promoted German outfit Greuther Fürth on Friday, in the club`s final pre-season friendly.
