'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Brunt moves to Leyton Orient on loan

Stoke City youngster Ryan Brunt has joined League One side Leyton Orient on a 6 month loan deal.

The Striker is relishing the first team opportunity at the Matchroom Stadium, he told leytonorient.com: "It's a great opportunity for me.

"It's nice to sign for six months.

"That gives me a bit of continuity and will allow me to get settled in the squad."

The 19 year old academy graduate previously spent last season on loan at League One side Tranmere Rovers where he made 15 appearances scoring one goal.

'I learned a huge amount playing men's football with Tranmere last season and it was a great experience. I want to build on that now here and become a better player." explained Brunt.

Leyton Orient manager Russell Slade believes the capture is vital to the club`s chances next season.

Slade told the club`s official website: "Ryan will be an asset for us over his loan spell here.

'He thrives on crosses and possesses a terrific work rate. He will complement the other strikers we have here well.'
