Ness transfer delayed

Jamie Ness, along with other former Rangers` player`s transfers has been blocked by the Scottish Football Association.

The Scottish F.A. has blocked the transfers of Jamie Ness to Stoke, Steven Whittaker to Norwich, Kyle Lafferty to FC Sion, Steven Naismith to Everton and Steve Davis to Southampton as the players parent club Rangers` seeks compensation.

It is likely that FIFA are to grant temporary registrations while the governing body rules on the matter.

The quintet has looked to move clubs after rejecting contracts from the Rangers NewCo after Rangers went into liquidation.

The five players have looked to move on as free agents after being advised by their union.

Unbelievable mess at Rangers, don't think it will be the only club to fall foul with all this mental debt in the game though.
