Stoke City games to be televised

Stoke City`s matches against Arsenal and West Ham United have been chosen for live television coverage.

Stoke`s first home fixture of the season against Arsene Wenger`s Arsenal will be shown on Sky and will now be played on Sunday 26th August, with kick off being 1.30pm. Stoke have a good home record against Arsenal, only losing to the London outfit once in the five meetings the two clubs have had at the Britannia Stadium since Stoke`s promotion to the Premier League.

Tony Pulis` men will also now travel to London to face Sam Allardyce`s West Ham in front of the television cameras on Monday 19th November for Sky`s Monday Night Football.

The two fixtures were picked in the first group of fixtures chosen for live television coverage by Sky and ESPN.

Other fixtures may be chosen for live coverage on television throughout the season.
