Pulis Plans to Make Amends for Ba

Pulis Plans to Make Amends for Ba

Everyone knows of the highly embarrassing comeback Demba Ba unleashed on Stoke City`s medical staff and Tony Pulis by going to West Ham, after being rejected by us, and firing in seven goals in twelve games, then going to Newcastle on a free, after being released due to a relegation clause, and accumulating an incredible fifteen goals in almost twenty games.

Sickening int eet? Especially as Pulis publicly admitted that Ba`s knee was like a ticking time bomb - perhaps he had his wires crossed? But never mind, because one player that has suffered a similar rejection at Newcastle recently, could be coming to the Britannia Stadium!

Sochaux striker Modibo Maiga thought his £7 million move to Geordie-land was a done deal, until the medical staff told Alan Pardew not to go through with the deal on the grounds that his knee is a persistent problem.

But it seems Pulis is willing to take a gamble with this player having learnt the hard way from a previous mistake. I wonder what our medics would say? I also wonder if actually taking this risk would actually be a bad choice, knowing our luck.

The 6` 2" 24-year-old striker/winger has scored nineteen goals in forty one games for the Ligue 1 side since his arrival in 2010, so does know how to stick it in the back of the net. Is he a Demba Ba? Who knows?
