Genk bag Bangoura?

Sky Sports News are reporting Stoke's Guinean international striker Sammy Bangoura is a target for Belgian side Genk.
City may be keen to sell their prized asset following his decision not to report for pre-season training. He reported back last Friday, the day before the new seasons kick-off against Southend.
Potters boss Tony Pulis had admitted he wants to work with the wayward striker, however knows it could release funds to bring in the likes of Freddy Eastwood or David Connolly. It could be a case of 'talking him up' as City look to recoup most of the £900,000 they paid for him just under a year ago.
Genk are known to be keen admirers of Bangoura, and are waiting in the wings with his City future in doubt.

Check back to the site tomorrow as VitalStoke previews Stoke V Birmingham, who have a 100% record going into the game.

All would be forgiven if he gets back to form & bags a good few (just look at the poll). He's got to be worth persevering with now after all this trouble. Key question will be if TP can motivate him to want to stay & play in the way that Perican't obviously responds to him. Jury's out on that one.
