Three Deals edge closer

Three Deals edge closer

It`s only a brief update because things are constantly changing at the Britannia Stadium, players linked here, there and everywhere.

BUT..

With 90 minutes to go Stoke are on the brink of announcing THREE new players, as we reported earlier. Cameron Jerome and Wilson Palacios always seemed to be full gone conclusions and now seem to be completing their moves from Birmingham and Tottenham respectively, and they will shortly be joined by Peter Crouch who is about to undergo a medical after successfully discussing personal terms.
The fee break down is £4 million for Jerome, £8 million for Palacios and a club record £10 million for Crouch!

AND…

A couple of hours go it was reported that Pulis had contacted Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini over a possible loan move for Adam Johnson but the Blues have rejected any approach. It is disappointing but it tells us that Stoke are still chasing a winger so further business is expected with an hour and a half to go!

AND…

Tim Cahill is also on Pulis`s radar! The Everton midfielder would be a out-of-the-blue signing but there is always one on Deadline Day. Everton would be reluctant to see their prize midfielder but anything`s possible with 90 minutes to go.
