Fans tip Clint Hill for captain

Fans tip Clint Hill for captain

Stoke fans voting on the Vitalfootball website have come down overwhelmingly in favour of Clint Hill to be captain for the new season.

The former Oldham captain has now returned to full fitness after injury has dogged his career since he joined the Potters in 2002 but has shown he has the leadership qualities required to wear the captain's armband.

Clint is currently way ahead on 70% with current captain, Michael Duberry only scoring 5% of the votes. 'Player of the Season' and fellow defender, Carl Hoefkens is in second place with 10% of the votes cast.

It's not too late for you to cast your vote or have your say on our forum ....
