City`s Links

Rumours are flying everywhere about potential moves for players, but are you keeping up to date with them guys? If not, then don`t worry, we`ve got them here; a great big list for you to have a skim through of every player that we have been linked with so far!

Goalkeepers: Matthew Gilkes (Blackpool)

Defenders: Sebastien Bassong (Spurs), Liam Ridgewell (Birmingham), Stephen Crainey (Blackpool), Cedric Hengbart (Auxerre) and Mathew Mills (Reading), Stephen Kelly (Fulham)

Midfielders: Charlie Adam (Blackpool), David Vaughan (Blackpool), Mark Noble (West Ham), Charles Kabore (Marseille), Bradley Johnson (Leeds United), Sebastian Larsson (Birmingham), Joe Cole (Liverpool), David Jones (Wolves), Angel Lafita (Real Zaragoza), Darron Gibson (Man United), Christian Poulsen (Liverpool), Charles N`Zogbia (Wigan), Leon Osman (Everton), Erik Huseklepp (Bari), Jack Collison (West Ham), Craig Gardner (Birmingham), Derek Boateng (Getafe), Joey Barton (Newcastle)

Strikers: Luke Varney (Derby), Jermaine Defoe (Spurs), Cameron Jerome (Birmingham), Carlton Cole (West Ham), Demba Ba (West Ham), David N`Gog (Liverpool), Nile Ranger (Newcastle), Craig Bellamy (Man City), Victor Obinna (Inter Milan), Kevin Doyle (Wolves)

So there you have it; an incredible 35 players linked with Stoke from 23 different clubs. But the most important fact is, apart from the signing of 17-year-old centre-back Immanuel Parry to the Academy, NO PLAYER HAS COME TO THE BRIT YET!!

Fans, including myself, are growing impatient to see new faces. We`re hearing all the rumours, but aren`t hearing any ink pens scribbling furiously on the dotted lines of contracts. So come on Pulis!!! We need to make the most of this transfer window in order to better the quality of our squad, and compete in Europe.

A fair few links there....shame we can't convert any of them :( I haven't heard about Kelly or Osman! Kelly could be a good back-up and he has played for us before (granted not too many times) and Osman is a young player with a future

Apart from the keeper, we need at one of each and I reckon it should be: Sebastien Bassong, Charles N`Zogbia, and Jermaine Defoe
