Potters' pre-season matches

Stoke City have announced their pre-season fixtures.

Thursday June 29th - players report back for training

Sunday July 9th: Newcastle Town (Lyme Valley Stadium - 12.30pm)

Tuesday July 11th: Chester City (Saunders Honda Stadium - 7.45pm)

Wednesday July 12th - 19th: Tour of Austria
The Potters will be based in Bad Aussee, which is 180 miles south west of Vienna and will play two games of which only one has been confirmed at present - Turkish club Vestel Manisaspor

Tuesday July 25th: PSV Eindhoven (Britannia Stadium - 7.45pm)

Friday July 28th: Grimsby Town (Blundell Park - 7.30pm)

Quick off the mark as usual Stokebloke. I've just updated the article. I agree, shame its not Standard - would have been an interesting game!

The final game looks like it will be a good game for getting some money into the coffers and see how continental teams deal with Pulis' unusual style of "football".
