Potters in N`Zogbia bid

Potters in N`Zogbia bid

BBC Radio Stoke understands that Stoke have made a bid for want away Wigan winger Charles N`Zogbia, and have enquired about Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva as we have just 2 and a half hours left on Deadline Day.

N`Zogbia would cost in the region of £9 million and may become Stoke`s second record transfer this summer. This all follows a flurry of activity in the Potteries as Salif Diao has returned and Marc Wilson is still discussing terms.

Wilson is still yet to sign. It has been reported that Liam Lawrence is stalling on his move to Fratton Park and so it looks as though that could go down to the wire as Pompey hope to be able to persuade the Ulsterman to join them.

Eidur Gudjohnsen is expected at the Brit in the next few moments to decide over a twelve month loan deal, it has been reported that both Stoke and Monaco will split the Icelandic`s wages 50/50.

Midfielder Lucas has vowed to fight for his place at Anfield alongside new signings Christian Poulsen and Raul Meireles but Tony Pulis has enquired over the possibility of signing the Brazilian.

Plenty of activity going on at the Brit that is sure to go down to the wire. More on all of these stories throughout the day on Vital Stoke.
