Deadline Day- 10am Updates

Deadline Day- 10am Updates

It seems that Stoke is the place to be this Transfer Deadline day as Tony Pulis has openly said that he wants 4-5 players in today!

The first of those looks to be concluded soon as MARC WILSON has arrived at the Britannia Stadium this morning to discuss personal terms and finalise his move from Portsmouth. The deal, which is expected to be concluded by midday, would also take DAVE KITSON and LIAM LAWRENCE to Fratton Park. However, Pompey manager Steve Cotterill has said that one of the two still has "a little way to travel to get the deal done".

Stoke are also still talking to Monaco about the possibility of loaning EIDUR GUDJOHNSEN for 12 months despite rumours he would rather join Fulham.

It has also been revealed that Pulis and co have been in talks with Tottenham over the possible signing of JERMAINE JENAS and that the Potters are showing interest in Middlesbrogh centre-half DAVE WHEATER as we look to bolster our defensive options.

It`s going to a busy day for Stoke so stay here for updates throughout the afternoon all the way to the 6pm deadline.
