Will Dicko be a Lilywhite?

Stoke City defender, Carl Dickinson may be off to Preston North End.

Before we were promoted to the Premier League it looked as though Dicko was destined for a regular slot in the first team, but he seemed to miss out in preference to the likes of Andy Wilkinson and has been forced into several loan moves over the past couple of years in order to get some regular games under his belt. Now 23 years old, it seems that he's on his way out of the Brit with reports that Sheffield United and PNE are both vying for his services with around £500,000 on the table.

He was always liked by the fans and will be fondly remembered for his enthusiastic celebrations with the fans on the pitch after our promotion was confirmed and an unforgettable rendition of 'Delilah' on live TV during the promotion party at the Brit a couple of days later.
