Plymouth fight to keep Pulis

Plymouth Argyle have refused Stoke City permission to talk to Tony Pulis about a possible move back to the Potteries.

Stoke City have said that their official request to the Plymouth club to talk to Pulis about the vacant manager's post had been blocked.

Stoke have refused to comment any further at this time.

Whether this is a genuine attempt to keep Pulis or just a ruse to up the amount of any compensation that Plymouth would claim from the Potters remains to be seen.

Give that Plymouth Chairman a medal ! But alas "whoop de doo" will soon become "boo hoo" i'm sure. It will just take longer & cost a lot more. Plymouth have "lost" him now & so it's all about the cash.
